Explosion

This week we started looking at explosions. This is what I came up with. I’m using 3 different FumeFX containers for the whole effect.

Paper Burn

Here’s the result of the second week of the FumeFx workshop. I used FumeFx for gaseous fluid dynamics nad thinking particles for rigid body dynamics, rendered with Vray composited in After Effects.

Kaboom!

Furniture visualisation

This is a scene visualisation project I did some time ago but haven’t really had a chance to post it yet. In this project I was given autocad files of the scenes you see above, so please note that I didn’t model or design anything myself. My work involved scene and material setup, lightning, rendering and compositing. The final product of this project was a catalog for a furniture design fair, as you can tell from the vibrant colors and design itself the catalog advertises bedroom furniture for children. I may be able to post the actual catolog at a later time if I get all the necessary files. Also note that the pictures above are raw resized renders which were later cropped and composited into the catalog by a designer.

Flourish

This is a  short FX shot I had been working on for a little longer than I originaly anticipated and now I’m finally calling it done. Fluid dynamics created with Realflow, flowers and butterflies instanced with particle flow. Rendered with vray, composited in After effects.

Vampire disintegration

Greatly inspired by Allan Mckay’s work, you can go visit his website trough the link on the right side of this page. He has a lot of great free tutorials and dvd’s primarily covering particle systems and fluid dynamics.

Short film animations

These are just a couple of simple animations I created for a short documentary film about 4 little children’s books and about the creation process behind them. The short film will be featured at a summer festival here in Slovenia.

Webuniverse

This is the latest project I did at work. It’s my first motion graphic animation and also first animation I created entirely with Adobe After Effects.

RoboCan

This is a little personal project I did some time ago but I haven’t posted it yet because it was kind of unfinished so I’ve freed up some time to polish it and here it is.  3D elements were rendered with vray.
